DJI Pilot 2 and DJI Fly parse automated missions from compressed KMZ archives containing proprietary WPML XML specifications. Incompatibilities occur when third-party route planners omit mandatory wayline metadata, define improper droneEnumValue parameters, or trigger heading angle zero calculation faults within the archive.
When these structural schema tags deviate from internal DJI requirements, the application cannot interpret flight templates or payload actions. This leads to immediate parser crashes, mission execution halts, and runtime import rejections at the flight controller level.
